Greetings from snowy Minnesota Andrea! We haven't met but I always enjoy your newsletters. I'm looking forward to trying your roasted turkey stock and turkey pho recipes next week with Thanksgiving leftovers that we tucked away in the freezer. And I always love your garden updates since they are so different than mine! Cheers!
Minnesota! Oh my. We do garden differently in our respective climes but it's darn amazing what I've seen sold in the Twin Cities markets -- especially the veggies grown by Hmong farmers. We live and cook in marvelous times. Thanks for being here with me.
Awesome that we share similar books on our shelves. My shelves are a mess as you can see. I'm not the kind of person who color codes my book collection; it's organized by subject (sort of). ;D
Thank you for paving the way for Vietnamese food being seen on the mainstage with other cuisines! Love this concept of community building. Can't wait for more!
Thank you for creating such wonderful content about Asian food. I really look forward to your writing, your videos, and your recipes. I can't wait to try the lemongrass green tomato recipe! What a great idea for all these green tomatoes that I have. I look forward to connecting more in this space.
Wow! So thrilled you've done this! The thinking behind it, and the execution... first-rate. So happy to know you, and intrigued with your next book -- which I've just ordered. Will send to my friend Trac Vu to whom you gave the banh mi book; he'll be equally delighted. Congratulations!!
Frank! Always good to hear from you. You pre-ordered Ever-Green Vietnamese? Bless you, my friend. I hope the book does not disappoint Trac. It's my most creative book thus far, I feel. Happy holidays to you.
Hi Andrea,
Congratulations on your new platform! I miss the fun in-person classes from you in Santa Cruz. Hope someday we can do them again!
Hi Maia,
So great to hear from you. I miss the in-person classes too and hope we can do them again too! Cooking with you and others was a blast.
I see we use the same organizational technique :) usually
Heheheh. Yes!
