Does lemongrass multiply when you plant it?

It surely does, Dave. It grows outward from the mother stalk. When planting, I space the stalks apart. Later on, you can easily separate the mature lemongrass and replant them elsewhere. It's hardy. I always remind myself that it's a grass.
