Thanks, Kristin. Not having Aubrie's special light shine on food media is something no one could have anticipated at this stage of her career and life.
Condolences to you and all the many people who so clearly adored Aubrie. Thanks for sharing your memories of this special human. May they remain a blessing to you always.

Beautiful words for Aubrie. Thanks for sharing that. I knew her briefly before she became a photographer and it was incredible to watch her career grow through the years.
It’s wonderful that your history with Aubrie goes back so far! A couple of folks mentioned meeting her when she started at 7x7 in SF. Part of grieving is sharing memories and identifying intersections. Thank you, Christina.
Thank you for your memorial to her. My mom had 2 types of Lymphoma. She died in 2012. Her mom had Lymphoma & we lost her at 101. Both women were curious about this world, observant. My mom was a great cook...both my parents were..and passed that sense of Love & exploration to my sister & I. My Grandmother was an artist & painted whimsical scenes of Tampa, Florida. Both had been teachers too. I miss them both so much & cancers have taken others I love too. I know it’s hard & it doesn’t seem fair, with one so young. I am sorry for your loss. Big Hugs, from Zapopan Mexico.
