Hello everyone!
Happy New Year and welcome to all the new PTFS subscribers! I hope 2024 started off well for you.
I just returned from two weeks on the islands of Kauai (morning vista above) and Oahu — where a jacket was seldom required. Now back in Santa Cruz and sitting at my desk, I’m dressed in layers and wearing wool socks.
My mainland brain is still a bit fuzzy still but I have much to report from Hawaii — grocery shopping gems, dining tips, and incredible botanical sightings. I’ll do it in spurts to not overwhelm you so let me get organized first.
